IXL
The new Neo
modules have
been designed
as a natural
extension of
the current
Neo single and dual models - offering the
light, vent and heat components as single or
dual function modules.
The creation of the Neo modules is a
direct response by IXL to market demand
for separate components – vent, heat
and light – that mirror the aesthetic and
functionality of the Tastic Neo range.
The Neo modules meld functionality
with clean-line aesthetics. The same
quality componentry can be expected in
the modules, including gimble mounted,
adjustable and splashproof 7W LED lights that
provide a neutral colour quality light source.

FLIR Systems
FLIR
Systems has
announced
that the FLIR
C2 is now
available in
the Asia Pacific
region.
The C2 is powered by FLIR’s patented
Lepton micro thermal detector, which
captures and displays subtle thermal
patterns and small temperature
differences using 4,800-pixels of
resolution. The C2’s wide angle fixed-focus
lens is ideal for viewing and analysing
large areas typically found in building
inspections. Plus, the C2 includes a built-in
work light and flash that helps illuminate
poorly-lit areas common in building
inspection environments.

launched a
new plate
range that
combines
modern design with genuine functionality
to allow home owners to simply control
lights, power, data and electrical accessories
with the touch of a button.
Saturn Zen is available in matte black
or white fingerprint resistant finishes and
offers LED push buttons which light up to
clearly show which switch is in operation
and makes it easy to find the right switch in
the dark.
Optional LED pictogram icons can also
be customised on each button for easy
switch identification.
FUSION SPLICER
AFC Group
AFC has released the
Fujikura FSM-21S active
v-groove alignment
fusion splicer.
The FSM-
21S expands
on Fujikura’s
extensive line up of
fusion splicers. Using active v-groove
alignment technology, the FSM-21S
bridges the gap between fixed v-groove
and core alignment technologies to
deliver an advanced, cost effective fusion
splicer suited to advanced FTTx and LAN
applications.
Weighing just 1,140g (including
battery) the FSM-21S features a long life
electrode, providing 3,000 splices, and
a long life battery providing 200 splice
and heat cycles.
UPS SYSTEM
Eaton
Eaton has announced an extended range of
high-efficiency Uninterruptible Power Supplies
(UPS) developed specifically to meet the needs of
contractors, installers and facilities managers who
require a cost-effective power protection solution
that’s easy to implement and use.
Eaton’s 93E extended series UPS, now available
in ratings from 15-80kVA, features double-
conversion technology to provide the best possible
protection for supported loads, but achieves
efficiencies as high as 98.5% when mains power
quality is good. This places them firmly among
the most efficient products of their class and,
together with their high reliability design and ABM
technology that extends battery life by up to 50%,
guarantees low total cost of ownership.
The new 93E UPS system is offered with new power ratings of 15kVa,
20kVa, 30kVa, 40kVa, 60kVa and 80kVA with the extended 93E range now
covering 15kVa to 400kVA power requirements.
