SEW-EURODRIVE presents the new MOVITRAC LTP B frequency inverter. This new series is extremely versatile, offering variable control modes of various motors types.

Available with a high degree of protection enclosure throughout the complete power range the MOVITRAC LTP B provides an efficient solution suitable to various industries sectors.

The new MOVITRAC LTP B frequency inverter from SEW-EURODRIVE is suited for a large variety of drive solutions in a wide range of applications. The unit series has been designed for universal use offering excellent motor control of both induction and permanent-magnet synchronous motors (with or without encoder feedback). A wide range of control options including an “energy saving function” provides an optimum drive solution in terms of efficiency and energy consumption. An extensive range of I/O and communication interfaces ensure quick and efficient integration into a wide variety of control systems. An intuitive parameter structure with standard factory settings and an integrated key pad shortens the commissioning process.

Easy to install, highly reliable, and particularly efficient the MOVITRAC LTP B frequency inverter is available in six frame sizes from 0.75kW to 160kW for a supply voltage of 230V or 400V. Available in 2 housing variants, IP20 for cabinet mounting and IP55 field mounting, suitable for operation in challenging ambient conditions. The unit is fitted with a dedicated “Safe Torque Off” binary input which immediately disables the drive in Emergency conditions. Delivering up to 200% torque from zero speed the MOVITRAC LTPB is a logical choice for applications with inherent high starting torque characteristics including conveyors, crushers, winders and mixers. The inverter series will be available as of the second quarter of 2012.
