Qcells has upgraded its product warranty, guaranteeing solar owners 25 years of product protection on all the newly extended range of modules.

The announcement to upgrade the warranty period comes following a streak of accolades for the South Korean company, which has just been awarded the ‘Top Brand PV 2022’ seals from EuPD Research, the internationally renowned energy research institute. The company earned its ninth consecutive seal in Europe and received the seal for the seventh consecutive year in Australia

Further to these prestigious awards from EuPD Research, Qcells has also been awarded Top Performer in PVEL’s 2022 PV Module Reliability Scorecard for the seventh consecutive year. An independent laboratory that samples and tests solar modules from leading solar manufacturers as part of its Product Qualification Program (PQP), PVEL is one of the global solar industry’s most well-renowned reliability and performance testing labs.

As the world’s first mass-scale manufacturer of solar modules based on PERC technology, Qcells has played a pioneering role in the solar industry over the past twenty years, and the announcement of its commitment to providing a 25-year warranty on the new modules in the range is a further demonstration of the company’s role at the forefront of solar technology.

The warranty period extension announcement also follows Qcells’ launch of a new range of solar panel products, including the stylish Q.MAXX BLK G4+ with a black backing sheet, offering a sophisticated option for consumers looking for a contemporary style for the home.

These modules feature a 108 half-cell Mono-Crystalline panel, with a 1,000V maximum system voltage. Utilising Qcells’ innovative Q.ANTUM technology featuring anti-reflection, thermally pre-stressed glass, the panels have a minimum power of 390W and an efficiency of 20.3%.
