Panduit Asia Pacific has announced that the new BlackFin Installation Tools will replace the current hydraulic power tool line as part of a global expansion that makes Panduit readily available worldwide. The company now has 60 service locations in 41 countries.

“I am excited to announce the new line of power tools. These set a new standard within our industry. Technology is everywhere, and now we can use it to our advantage within the construction space,” says Panduit director of sales enablement for IC/MRO Fred Dorman.

The tools are certified by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) accredited and nationally recognised test lab CSA to meet mandatory OSHA requirements. They also meet the requirements of EU Machinery Directive and EMC Directive and ISO 12100 Machinery Safety Risk Assessment, including ergonomics.

Panduit has also launched Fast and Intelligent Notification Software (FINs), which is used for statistical documentation and evaluation of the hydraulic installation tools.

This gives customers the ability to:

• Download, print and store work information, such as maximum PSI, number of cuts/crimps and battery information
• Set service intervals and download work history reports since manufacture, last service and for project
• Add user and inventory information to better manage tool lives.
