From Tuesday, 10 August, outdoor services are permitted where physical distancing can be maintained. This applies to businesses providing the following services:

  • Home solar panel installations (only for outdoor work or in roof cavities with external access)
  • Home renovations and installations (outdoor only)
  • Outdoor maintenance, repairs, cleaning and other building work, including at occupied premises.

The news comes as Victoria enters its second week in the state’s sixth lockdowns since the pandemic began. More information is available on coronavirus.vic.gov.au on the current restrictions for businesses in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
