New e-chain designed for long travels
Treotham has unveiled its new E4Q lightweight igus e-chain.
The product is designed for unsupported lengths and long travels which cause extreme stress on energy chains. Based on the energy chain standard E4.1 from igus, the new series offers long service life and a high degree of modularity.

The E4Q features special crossbars that can be opened and closed without tools, allowing for easy access to the interior of the chain.
There is also an optional system to provide additional noise reduction. Two connected balls dampen the impact during the radius and extension stop, reducing the sound level without restricting quality.
