Nedlands Group has introduced a new supply chain role in its China office in order to keep up with growing customer demand.

Dave Walker will be responsible for Nedlands Group’s Global Supply Chain which will include developing cost and quality improvements to leverage the company’s procurement and production platforms. Most notably, this will involve frequent quality checks at manufacturing sites, developing innovative products and attempting to reduce “out of stock” lines to increase the company’s product range and potential to hold more stock.

Dave says that he is excited to get started with a team of highly skills people around him.

“Nedlands Group has built an industry leading supply chain with an extremely talented team. My role is to continue developing competitive advantages that get high quality products delivered to our customers faster, at an overall lower cost,” says Dave.

Dave spent 15 years working in China at a senior level coordinating the supply chain for IKEA electrical appliances and accessories within mainland China. He also expanded on the division’s operations which included Product Development, Design, Planning, Purchasing, Quality Control, Compliance and Distribution.

Managing director of Nedlands Group Aiden Morren says that the addition of Dave will only propel the company further towards its goals.

“Dave is a results-driven professional with significant experience in leading global strategic initiatives, in both South America and South East Asia. We are proud to have him join our team.”
