The AVC Group signs with APG
APG has distributed Niles, also owned by The AVC Group, since 1995.
“All of the AVC Group’s products are aligned to complement each other, so having one distributor in the region makes sense,” says APG product manager Eduan Naude.

“This is very much the ethos of (AVC Group president) Mark Terry, who believes in having one distributor in any one region.”
The change comes as a result of the AVC Group’s strategy of consolidating the distribution of all their brands in each country.
“This will also mean APG has an even stronger focus on the custom channel, with products that focus on the high end of the market right through to more accessible product.”
Eduan explains that APG is working closely with former distributor Hi Fi & Video Marketing to ensure all current dealers are serviced and all warranties are honoured.
The company also intends to significantly grow the presence of Elan in the Australian marketplace.
“There’s a lot happening in October. Our primary focus will be on training, getting everyone familiar with the design aspects of the product,” he says.
“It’s more than just making people aware of the product codes.”
APG will begin representing Niles, Elan, Aton and Sunfire in the Australian market on 1 October.
Xantech, also owned by the AVC Group, will continue to be represented by AVation.
Together, the five brands create the ‘AVC Advantage’ – complementary product offerings, backed by competitive pricing and support programs.
