ARBS to postpone exhibition due to COVID-19

The ARBS Exhibition will be postponed from its initial date of 19th to 21st May 2020 due to the COVID-19 virus.

The exhibition usually hosts around 10,000 to 12,000 participants including exhibitors, visitors, suppliers and contractor staff. The sheer amount of people and their health and safety was one of the main concerns when deciding to reschedule the event.

Many of the international exhibitors now have a limited or banned staff travel including interstate and it’s likely that the government will recommend or prevent major travel and movement if possible.

Additionally, a number of seminar presenters and exhibitors had contacted the ARBS to note their intention to cancel their travel.

There is no postponed date as of yet and the ARBS will announce it when it believes the threat of the virus has died down.
