APS enters partnership with Baumer

APS Industrial has entered a national distribution agreement with Baumer.

The agreement started on 1 July 2021 and it joins APS with the Switzerland-based Baumer Group that was founded in 1952 and has a presence in 39 subsidiaries and 19 countries.

“As a leading manufacturer of sensing instruments, the Baumer and APS partnership will enhance local customer experience,” Baumer Singapore managing director Michael Ti says.

APS Industrial director of products David Read adds: “Baumer is a world leader in sensors for automation and process and APS are proud to add them to our portfolio which will round out our offering to local industry.”

Featured Baumer products that APS will have access to is encoders, smart vision system and identification, object detection & distance management, process sensors and mechanical process instruments.

Baumer joins the APS portfolio that already includes brands such Siemens, Weidmüller, Belden, Rittal and Katko.
