ABB has released the NPG Quick-Connect cable glands, providing panel builders and gland volume installers with an innovative solution with a swift and hassle-free installation process without compromising on performance.

The NPG Quick-Connect cable gland boasts a single-piece design, eliminating the need for locknuts or O-rings and simplifying the installation process significantly, reducing the chances of nuts falling on the ground or creating crooked connections. The gland snaps effortlessly into place, making it easier than ever to secure cables in panels and equipment boxes before they can be screwed down from the outside.

ABB’s NPG Quick-Connect cable glands have undergone rigorous testing and meet several industry standards, including UL listing and recognition, CE certification, LVD compliance and RoHS compliance, these highlighting the product’s reliability and adherence to stringent quality and safety standards.

Despite its user-friendly installation process, the NPG Quick-Connect cable gland does not compromise performance. It is rated IP66 and IP68, ensuring a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, even in harsh environments. Additionally, the gland is corrosion-resistant, offering long-term reliability.

ABB places a strong emphasis on safety, and the NPG Quick-Connect is no exception. It is crafted from halogen-free, flame-retardant nylon, which not only enhances its durability but also makes it a safer choice for electrical installations. This material can withstand temperatures ranging from -20°C to 100°C, ensuring it performs reliably in various conditions.
