A new home energy system by ZEN Energy Systems allows home-owners to monitor the performance of their solar panels from anywhere in the world via a mobile phone or tablet.

As one of Australia’s largest dedicated home energy companies, ZEN Energy Systems has installed more than 200,000 solar panels on metropolitan, regional and rural homes across Australia since it was established in 2004.

The new ZEN AC Home Energy System allows for homeowners to monitor the performance of their solar panels via PC or iPhone/iPad/Android mobile devices.

“By monitoring individual panels, we can ensure each panel’s performance is maximised and there are no panel passengers,” Richard says.

“The new ZEN system means that no more large inverter is required on the side of your home eliminating DC wiring and DC isolators. This also means safer and lower levels of voltage on your roof at the same time as generating an average 10% higher energy production.”

ZEN’s 250W Blackline panels also provide a modern stylish feature and better performance in the Australian climate. The system allows for additional panels to be included at any time, dependent on a customer’s current feed in tariff.

The release of the ZEN AC Home Energy System featuring the web-based ZEN Energy Manager comes as ZEN has begun the first production run of its Freedom PowerBank energy storage units for the retail market.
