Yingli Solar surpasses 10GWs of global solar module deliveries
When fully operational, the total power generated annually by Yingli’s deployed fleet could power an estimated four million average homes, and is equivalent to nearly one fifth of China’s total residential power consumption in 2013 (assuming that 1 megawatt of Yingli modules will produce 1.2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity each year).
Each year, the modules will offset approximately 6.8 million tons of carbon emissions when compared to conventional coal generation, which is equivalent to planting more than 340 million trees.
