Wenglor, available thought Treotham Automation, has expanded its portfolio of industrial illumination solutions with a ring light and ZMRG dark field attachment.

The Wenglor LRL ring light comes in two sizes, 36 and 76mm, and three light colours and is suitable for applications and camera requirements in industrial image processing. There are optional angle changers to enable flexibility of the illumination angle to allow for a better field of view homogeneity.

It is compatible with angle changers which allows for a bright, even and diffuse lighting solution with different beam angles without shading. The six M4 mounting threads, mounting accessories and connection through a five-pin M12 plus encourages flexible mounting options.

White, red and infrared light are the three light options in the LRL where all are continuously dimmable. They can be used flexibly in continuous or the strode mode Overdrive.

The LMX dark field illumination incorporates the LMRZ ring light and the ZMRG dark field attachment to give precise surface inspections at a 60° angle of incidence. This is mostly suitable for glossy and dark surfaces to highlight edges, bumps and scratches.

The 36mm LRL ring light can also be attached directly to C-mount lenses using an adapter.
