VoltLogic proving a hit in NSW with solar installers
VoltLogic limits power exported to the grid from solar systems, benefitting both consumers and installers, who are able to install larger systems better suited to their energy usage. In addition, VoltLogic can charge batteries to store excess power generated from solar systems.

These combined features are particularly crucial in rural areas, where customers on single-phase or single-wire earth return distribution systems have been increasingly facing restrictions on the size of solar systems they are allowed to install, thus making projects potentially not viable. With VoltLogic, installers are able to sell more solar panels, and consumers can install larger systems to suit their energy usage – resulting in cost savings – which is critical at a time when budget cuts are now on the horizon for everyone.
While VoltLogic currently has approval to install statewide in NSW, approvals are imminent for QLD, and showcase systems are currently being installed in Vic, NT and SA.
Michael LeMessurier, principal commercial manager of RESA, says it was no surprise VoltLogic was proving a hit with both installers and consumers.
“The export control capability of VoltLogic is really opening doors. It allows consumers to save more money, and installers to install more solar panels,” he says.
“We’re thrilled with such a positive start and we can’t wait to bring this game-changing technology to consumers Australia-wide.”
VoltLogic is an Australian innovation, owned and manufactured in Australia with local support. It is available in 5kW, 10kW and 15kW units.
