Trina Storage Elementa 2 platform recognised by DNV and UL Solutions
Trina Storage’s Elementa 2 platform has been recognised for its safety, reliability and bankability.
The 4MWh version of the Elementa 2 platform has been certified by DNV for meeting international standards including UL 1973, IEC 62619, IEC 63056 and UL 9540A thermal runaway testing. It’s powered by 306Ah a battery cell and has features such as a multi-layer battery management system, fire safety systems and a liquid cooling solution.

The 5MWh version was evaluated by UL Solutions and confirmed the products safety design, technical advantages and compliance to industry standards such as UL 1973, IEC 62619, UN38.3, and UL 9540A.
It’s equipped with a 314Ah battery cell and it integrates advanced multi-layer battery management system, automatic fire safety systems and a liquid-cooling solution.
DNV and UL Solutions confirmed the production line at Trina Storage is highly automated and well-managed to ensure consistent product quality from materials supply to final delivery.

Both the 4MWh and 5MWh versions are certified by DNV and UL Solutions who highlighted the design and robust safety.
