The first 210mm N-type monocrystalline ingot rolled off the production line at Trina Solar’s Qinghai Factory in northwestern China.

Construction of the 20GW monocrystalline ingot Qinghai project began on 1 July 2022. Little more than eight months later, the first monocrystalline furnace was ignited for calcination, on 10 February 2023, and was officially commissioned two days later.

The 210mm N-type monocrystalline ingots are mainly used to ensure the production capacity and quality of Trina Solar’s N-type modules. The ingot coming off the production line is 3,800mm long and weighs 542kg.

Trina Solar has always maintained high standards and rigorous requirements in manufacturing. The number of particles of size 0.5µm or larger per cubic meter of air in the monocrystalline silicon workshop is less than 100,000, and the number of particles of size 0.5µm or larger per cubic meter of air in materials preparation areas is less than 10,000, well above industry standards.
