DGIT, an Australian specialist telecommunications software and services company, has introduced to the market a product that simplifies the process for access seekers to integrate to the NBN.

The product, Telflow B2B, which has been designed and built in accordance with TM Forum (www.tmforum.org – global, non-profit industry association focused on enabling service provider agility and innovation) standards and industry best practice, offers NBN access seekers an affordable opportunity to rapidly engage in B2B driven fulfilment, assurance and billing transactions with NBN Co.

DGIT chairman and chief technology officer Greg Tilton says, “Telflow B2B ensures Australian Access Seekers are connected to the NBN B2B in both the shortest possible time and at the most cost effective rate.”

Telflow B2B significantly simplifies connecting to the Australian NBN in two key areas:

1) The connection to NBN Co, where both up front and on-going certification with NBN Co is included in the product price. This process typically takes a couple of months and requires significant work effort.

2) Integrating with Access Seekers’ existing systems. Telflow B2B looks after many message forming aspects of the integration with NBN Co on the gateway and presents simplified interfaces to Access Seekers’ internal systems to speed integration.

Telflow B2B is a combination of a proven ebXML based B2B gateway and an Industry B2B services layer and as such is the first product of its type to be used for NBN Co certification.

Where Access Seekers wish to on-sell (Demand Aggregate) NBN Co products, DGIT offers a supplier side bundle which includes a Product Catalogue, B2B and Dynamic Web Portal to provide integration with their customers.
