Schneider Electric has just launched the Iconic Styl range of light switches from Clipsal.

Clipsal by Schneider Electric general manager residential Rachel Mattiassi says changing the style of light switch is even easier than painting a wall now.

“Light switches and power points are important elements of interior design, not only because of their functionality, but also as ways to showcase style and sophistication. Now home owners and designers have the opportunity to add their design touch simply and safely to any room”.

The design of the Iconic range allows anyone to safely change the look of switches and sockets by swapping out the skin. The skin simply pivots and clicks out, and a new one can be clipped on in its place meaning home owners or designers can make the simple change anytime they are looking to update the look in their home.

“Light switches and power points serve an important purpose but they can also stand out for all the wrong reasons, especially if they are treated as an afterthought. A switch can give a home a fresh and modern feel, while showcasing the homeowner’s personal style,” Rachel says.

The Clipsal Iconic range delivers a safe and reliable electrical solution with sophisticated smart home features. The range offers smart phone or tablet app-controlled dimming, time control, and energy saving options, with Bluetooth-enabled switches.

Iconic’s new skin design simply clips onto standard, previously installed Iconic grids, which means electricians only need to carry one base range of mechs and grids and mix-and-match skin options to suit the customers’ preferences.

The Styl range is made with anodised aluminium and is available in three metallic on-trend finishes, Silver, Crowne and Silver Shadow.
