Sprecher + Schuh, distributed by NHP, has delivered its motor switching and protection solutions range including CA7 contactors, CEP7 motor protection electronic overloads and KT9 motor protection circuit breakers.

Sprecher + Schuh’s compact range of CA7 contactors is available in up to 97A (AC-3) sizes, various coil voltage options, auxiliary contact configurations and interchangeable accessories across frame sizes to support the build of motor starters.

For larger-sized contactors, up to 1060A (AC-3), the CA9 range of contactors is available with a modern electronic coil design and PLC interface options.

The next-generation electronic CEP7 overload relays accurately measure the motor’s current load, model its temperature and de-energise the motor during overload conditions to help minimise potential equipment damage due to overheating.

Directly mounting to CA7 contactors (up to 97A), CEP7 features a wide current adjustment range, remote reset capability, the addition of extra protection modules and more.

The KT9 line of advanced motor controllers is rated up to 40A and provide magnetic short-circuit and thermal overload protection in one device. The range offers higher short circuit ratings, improved thermal performance (lower heat loss) and modular design to accommodate various accessories among other features.
