sparc-FMA: The future of facilities services, technology and lighting is here
The sparc-FMA International Lighting and Facilities Event is being held over three days at the International Convention Centre (ICC) at Darling Harbour in Sydney from 30 May until 1 June 2017.
sparc-FMA is a joint initiative between Lighting Council Australia and the Facility Management Association of Australia.
Featuring an exhibition showcasing the latest in lighting and facility management innovation from Australia and around the world, the event will be the largest gathering of facilities related technologies and smart lighting industries in the southern hemisphere. It will also feature a symposium involving world-renowned international and local experts in the fields of lighting and facility management, with the speaker symposium being held concurrently with the exhibition.

It is the first time both Australian and international facilities and lighting manufacturers, suppliers and service providers will be showcasing the latest developments under one roof.
The Facility Management Association of Australia CEO Nicholas Burt said that sparc-FMA will be Australia’s largest and most significant event for the facility management and lighting industries.
sparc-FMA represents an opportunity for exhibitors and sponsors to gain exposure in an event that has previously been attended by over 2,000 delegates. It also offers a chance to get in front of key decision makers including architects, designers, specifiers, property owners, facility managers, project managers, major lighting stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturers and allied professionals from a broad range of related industries.
It is the only event of its type that contributes directly to the development of the respective industries through their peak industry bodies.
sparc-FMA is underpinned by a long-term commitment and benefits by being owned and managed by the two industries – an event operated by industry, for industry. Events such as this run by industry bodies contribute to sustaining industry development, said Nicholas.
Lighting Council Australia’s CEO Richard Mulcahy added that facility management and lighting are highly complementary industries and that the combined event represents an excellent opportunity for Australia’s lighting industry.
The event will culminate in a gala dinner on the evening of 1 June in the ICC’s grand ballroom and will feature spectacular lighting and entertainment.
A majority of the floor space has already been filled but some spaces remain. Exhibitors, sponsors, partners and visitors are invited to register now at www.sparcfmaevent.org
