WorldSkills Australia will present Australia’s flagship skills and trades event, Skills Show Australia 2018, in Sydney from 2 June – 4 June 2018.

Funded by the NSW Government, the Skills Show is the only vocational education and training (VET) focused event in Australia.

Visitors to the Show will be provided with an opportunity to discover future careers through interactive events, demonstrations and competitions.

The Skills Show will also play host to the WorldSkills Australia National Championships 2018. Hundreds of young people from across Australia will compete to be recognised as the nation’s best in about 50 different vocational skills from carpentry, bricklaying and construction through to auto body repair, welding and cookery.

Each competitor will be vying for the opportunity to represent Australia in the 45th WorldSkills Competition, to be held in Kazan, Russia, in 2019.
