Schneider Electric has announced Dicker Data as a new IT distributor in Australia. The partnership agreement allows Dicker Data to distribute APC by Schneider Electric’s UPS products for home and small/medium businesses. Product lines include SurgeArrest, Back-UPS, Smart-UPS and Symmetra for server, storage and networking applications.

“With the increased adoption of cloud computing in the SMB market, businesses are moving more and more of their data and applications off-site. Protecting the network connection to the cloud has now become business critical, which presents expanded opportunities to our channel partners. They can provide UPS solutions for the remaining onsite server and networking equipment, as well as the traditional ‘on-premise’ computing requirements.
