South Australian business Laser Electrical Renmark has beaten over 60 businesses in the Laser Electrical Group to win the title of Laser Electrical Australia Business of the Year.

As well as winning the award for Laser Electrical Australia Business of the Year, the business also won the national titles for Marketing Excellence and Networking Excellence.

Owners Jeff and Paula Butters were overwhelmed by the announcement with Paula immediately texting their staff in Renmark when their names were called out.

“This award for me is recognition of the hard work that all members of the Renmark team have put in. Nobody is successful by themselves; it is always a team effort. We have been able to use the various strengths that each of us have. We are looking forward to continuous growth as a company, and learning from our peers in Laser,” Jeff says.

General Manager Rod Bedford was equally stunned but acknowledged the hard work and contribution of the Renmark team when accepting the award.

“We set our goals and as a team, achieved them” says Rod.

“I look around the Laser members and I still have so much to learn from everyone, the network is a gold mine.”

The Renmark team received their awards at the 2018 Laser Group Conference where more than 500 delegates from Australia and New Zealand converged on Rotorua in New Zealand for a three-day conference which featured some of Australia and New Zealand’s top speakers and recognised the contributions and achievements of businesses and individuals in the Group.
