S-5! is set to deliver its direct-attach PVKIT rail-less solar mount next month in a world-first for mounting photovoltaic (PV) modules to metal roofs.

Offering live demonstrations, the S-5! team will showcase the PVKIT and its features and benefits at All Energy Australia at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 23 to 24 October.

The PVKIT includes Protea II, a versatile bracket for mounting PV to trapezoidal rib (single-skin and insulated) metal panel roofs. Used for rail and rail-less systems, this bracket features an adjustable attachment base with a top length of up to 90mm.

The Protea PV is a universal mounting system for installing PV modules on trapezoidal-rib metal roof profiles. It combines the adjustability of the ProteaBracket with the ease of PVKIT, making it a cost-effective and innovative way to install solar PV modules.

Protea PV comes preassembled with a Mid or Edge configuration for an easy, efficient installation out of the box. The Protea PV’s bonding and grounding features ensure an effective electrical connection between module frames, meeting UL 2703 requirements.

The KL7 clamp is ideal for solar and utility fixing (light applications), providing zero-penetration attachment for Lysaght Klip-Lok 700 Hi-Strength metal roof profiles. It also pairs seamlessly with the PVKIT for a rail-less solar mounting solution.
