Pizzato Elettrica releases the Pizzato NS series of safety switchesPizzato Elettrica, which is distributed by Leuze Electronic, has released the Pizzato NS series of safety switches that make it possible to create circuits having maximum PLe and SIL3 safety levels. It does this by installing just one device on the machine, avoiding expensive additional wiring and allowing for quicker installation.

The NS series has two electronic safety outputs that must be connected to a safety module with OSSD inputs or to a safety PLC. It offers optional multiple connections, up to a maximum number of 32 devices, while maintaining the maximum PLe safety level.

The NS series features LEDs displayed on the front face to provide visible diagnostics and a large hole for centering the actuator’s pin. This solution makes it easier to align the actuator and the hole on the head of the switch during the assembly phase.

The top module of the switch incorporates the release device mechanism and the lower module includes the connection outputs. The modules can be rotated in 90° steps to facilitate different mounting combinations.
