Ohme introduces MultiCar function for households with multiple EVs
Smart EV charging company Ohme has introduced its MultiCar functionality. The MultiCar app enables users to add multiple EVs to their account and switch between them when selecting which vehicle to charge.
Previously, those who owned more than one EV would need to change the main car on their account or alter the charging amount to suit their second car. The MultiCar app lets users easily switch between multiple vehicles by adding them on the user’s account, which ensures the driver gets the exact charging schedule and level of charge without the risk of incurring any extra cost.

“Innovation and constant progression are core values at Ohme,” Ohme Australia head of mobility Matthew Evans says.
“This new MultiCar function app is a great example of those and a major step forward for those households with more than one EV, which will inevitably grow in the future. This addition to our app just underlines how Ohme always strives to ensure that no driver is left behind in the e-mobility transition.”
The app allows users to differentiate between personal and company vehicles. Additionally, visiting guests with EVs can be temporarily added to the account for easy charging.
Via the app, Ohme owners will have individual data for each vehicle on the account, providing a full breakdown of every vehicle’s charging sessions, detailing kWh of charge and costs broken down by day, month of year, giving precise information whether it’s required for personal or business reasons. Users can also track savings in both dollars and CO2 for both solar and smart charging.
Developed specifically for the Australian market, both the Ohme Home Pro and ePod charges come with solar boost capability and dynamic tariff integration, which enables EV drivers to charge sustainably and more affordably.
