Novaris has released its latest pluggable NSP surge diverter, ideal for domestic and commercial electrical switchboards to protect white goods, AV media equipment and office electronics.

Available from Control Logic, the Novaris NSP is a type two surge diverter with lightning protection (of LP1/2 and LPZ0b/1) and is highly rated with a maximum current of 40kA.

The pluggable design allows for easy removal and replacement after lightning storms, whilst eliminating the cost of rewiring replacement diverters. In addition, it enables a fast changeover of diverter modules to keep the electrical system protected.

The Novaris NSP is equipped with an alarm relay and visible colour indication to notify if the device module needs to be replaced. The protector is designed for single and three-phase switchboards with neutral and earth, or single-phase with earth.

With the same physical footprint of miniature circuit breakers, the diverter is available in one, two and four modules wide, to ensure a small form factor. The Novaris 40KA surge protector is easy to install and provides the highest level of protection for lightning strikes of critical systems.
