NHP has released an onsite Standard Drive Commissioning and Start-Up Service for Allen-Bradley PowerFlex variable speed drives.

Benefits of this service include a manufacturer’s drive(s) extended warranty, extended to 12 months from start-up date upon completion of the drive start-up process, optimal performance from configuring, commissioning and deployment of hardware and software and validating operations with NHP Service Technicians able to validate that the necessary electrical, mechanical and environmental criteria have been met to ensure proper equipment operation.

Furthermore, NHP will provide documented evidence that the system functions in the manner specified by the manufacturer, improving reliability.

Included in the drive start-up includes physical inspection and verification of proper drive and motor installation practices prior to the application of power, verification that external control wiring is properly terminated at the drive input and output connection points and confirmation of drive cabling-to-motor, line feed and isolation transformer (if applicable).

In addition, an inspection of all power and control components to verify correct operation will be made as well as an inspection of all vents, fans and current transformers and an operation of drive through its speed range to verify correct performance.
