NHP inducted into 2012 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame
NHP Electrical Engineering Products (NHP) has announced themselves as one of those inductees into the prestigious Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.
Established in 2001, the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame offers an opportunity to recognise companies and individuals who have the dedication, creativity and energy to take Victorian manufacturing to the next level. Companies that display a sustained contribution to manufacturing excellence over the past five years are eligible for induction into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

NHP director – product quality, engineering and manufacturing Alex Coslovich was called on stage to accept the award on behalf of all at NHP.
“We are honoured to be inducted,” Alex says.
“Australian manufacturing is facing some of its toughest challenges in the current economic climate and we feel that our business model allows us to create jobs within this sector and genuinely “add value” to locally assembled products. It is NHP’s objective to continue to cultivate this philosophy and this will allow us to remain competitive well into the future.”
NHP managing director and chief executive Lloyd Thomas was also present on the evening.
“Being inducted into the 2012 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame is really a true reflection of the great team we have at our manufacturing facility in Laverton Melbourne, who, day-in and day-out, produce excellence in everything that they do,” he says.
The Hon. Richard Dalla-Riva MLC said the awards were an important part of recognising the strength and success of Victoria’s manufacturing capabilities.
“We have examples of manufacturing companies here in Victoria that lead Australia in sectors such as aerospace and defence, engineering, food processing, fashion and textiles and others that continue to be successful in challenging economic circumstances and these awards celebrate that leadership and innovation,” he says.
