NHP has introduced the new NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO range of variable speed drives, designed specifically for HVAC applications.

The NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO has a user-friendly design and is available in IP66 to 11kW and IP55 up to 45kW. A large OLED display is included as standard, which allows a fuller viewing angle, high contrast, quick navigation, and faster setup.

NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO is a dedicated ‘low harmonics’ HVAC variable speed drive that uses the latest technology to minimise disruption (harmonics) of the incoming mains power supply typically created by non-linear loads such as standard variable speed drives. The NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO variablecurrent levels, leading to reduced lifetime costs. In addition, NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO incorporates a film capacitor design which offers increased speed drive reduces harmonic current distortion to below 30% iTHD (Total Harmonic Distortion), whilst also increasing efficiency by reducing the input efficiency and longer shelf-life compared with standard variable speed drives.

Packed with HVAC features designed to give energy efficient control, the NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO includes fire mode operation, which is particularly useful in smoke extraction systems and stairwell pressurisation applications.

With inbuilt BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU, and a host of communication options the NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO can integrate easily into your HVAC building management system. Furthermore, the optional MODstick allows for Bluetooth communications between the NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO and PC, as well as the ability to plug-in or wirelessly copy parameter sets between drives. The user-friendly PC software allows for drive commissioning and parameter backup as well as the option for simple logic function programming.

In addition to the NHP MODdrive HVAC ECO is the NHP MODdrive HVAC variable speed drives which cover 55 to 160kW HVAC applications. Also available is the NHP MODdrive E2 single phase variable speed drive which offers accurate speed control for single phase PSC or shaded-pole motors up to 1.1kW.
