NECA welcomes new ministerial appointments
The National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) has welcomed a raft of new ministerial appointments announced on Sunday by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
“Whilst NECA enjoyed a positive relationship and acknowledges the work of many of the outgoing Ministers, we welcome the Government’s new direction and Ministerial appointments that are important and relevant to the electrical and communications contracting sector,” said NECA CEO, Suresh Manickam.
These key Ministries include Small Business (The Hon Kelly O’Dwyer MP), Education & Training (Senator the Hon Simon Birmingham), Employment (Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash), Vocational Education and Skills (The Hon Luke Hartsuyker MP), Communications (Senator the Hon Mitch Fifield) and Cities and the Built Environment (The Hon Jamie Briggs MP).

“NECA welcomes the new appointments, and the appointment of Malcolm Turnbull as Prime Minister, and looks forward to working with this Ministry to better serve the interests of our members and the wider industry.”
“It’s critical that the electrical and communications contracting sector remains connected to Government decision making to ensure that future outcomes are beneficial,” Mr Manickam said.
