necaThe best Australian Capital Territory (ACT) electrical and communications contractors and apprentices were recognised at the annual electrical industry Excellence and Apprentice Awards hosted by peak Australian industry body the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA).

In the Excellence Awards, NECA ACT awarded nine major awards and four commendations across nine categories and in the Apprentice Awards there were six award recipients across two categories. Finalists were presented in front of 300 industry representatives including contractors, suppliers, educators and government representatives at the pinnacle showcase of the electrical and communications industry at Hotel Realm, Canberra.

Executive director of NECA Australian Capital Territory Mr Oliver Judd said the winning companies and apprentices were chosen because of their commitment to excellence, significant engineering achievements and finishing the complex jobs on time.
