At the second annual NBN Realised event, over 200 industry experts in both Sydney and Melbourne gathered to hear the latest updates and what the future has in store for the Governments $43 billion NBN rollout. With a number of high quality speakers, the audience was informed about the process of the rollout, and then educated about how the marketplace is forming for the NBN.

DGIT chief technology officer Greg Tilton was joined on stage with TM Forum chief architect Dave Milham and NBN Co industry integration manager Martin Pittard, to outline to the strong showing of retail service providers of the NBN how they can control their customer experience with strong service delivery platforms.

Tilton, whom with DGIT have been major contributors to the NBN Interface specification, explained through case studies how the use of an industry B2B allows integration to facilitate collaboration, which ultimately provides both control to the service provider and ready market that wholesale services can be sold into.

DGIT currently offers to the market a B2B gateway, built in accordance with TM Forum standards, which was the first of its type to achieve certification through NBN Co’s B2B Gateway certification process.

The B2B software, part of DGIT’s Telflow Suite of software, has a flexible architecture which enables access seekers to quickly pass certification and engage in B2B driven fulfilment and assurance transactions with NBN Co and others who choose to supply through the standard.
