NBCF and Bisley Workwear team up to challenge ‘real men’ to wear pink
The campaign poses the question “are you man enough?” to men (and women) across Australia and challenges them to don pink to raise money for breast cancer research.
According to NBCF chief executive Carole Renouf, men are often left out of the discussion when we talk about or refer to breast cancer but they are a vital part of the experience.

“Real Men Wear Pink is not only about getting men to acknowledge the role they play in the breast cancer experience. It’s about getting men to ‘man up’,” she says.
“We want men, and women, to register to fundraise via realmenwearpink.org.au and actively do something to help change the future of breast cancer for their daughters, wives, mothers, sisters and friends.
“We also shouldn’t forget that men can get breast cancer too. Approximately 1% of all breast cancer diagnosis is in men.”
Real Men Wear Pink launched in 2013, and has raised $250,000 to date. This year the organisation hopes to raise in excess of $1 million, through corporate and community support, to fund breast cancer research.
To support the campaign, and NBCF’s goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030, Bisley Workwear has launched a new range of pink workwear with $3 from the sale of each shirt donated to NBCF.
This year Bisley Workwear’s ambassador Scott Cam is “manning up” and switching his blue work shirt for pink high vis.
Scott says, “When I found out that one in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime I was shocked. As a Dad, a hubby, a son with many female friends and colleagues, this statistic is incredibly scary. But we all have the opportunity to do something to help change these statistics.”
“So make sure you ask yourself or the men in your life “are you man enough?” to do something about breast cancer. Grab a Bisley pink workwear shirt and register to fundraise via realmenwearpink.org.au. Every dollar raised helps the National Breast Cancer Foundation move closer to its aspirational goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030,” Scott adds.
The new pink workwear range includes two night and day compliant and one night only compliant high visibility safety garments in both men’s and women’s styles. Bisley Workwear will donate $3 from the sale of each shirt to NBCF.
