National Energy Efficiency Conference details released

The Energy Efficiency Council has released the speaker lineup for the 2016 National Energy Efficiency Conference, to take place in Sydney, 15-16 November.

Located at the Australian Technology Park, the conference will bring together 350 efficiency leaders, innovators, energy users and policy makers.

This year, the conference is being held in collaboration with the International Energy Agency’s Energy in Buildings & Communities Program.

As a result, the conference features a stellar line-up of international experts, as well as leading local thinkers from industry and government including:

  • International keynote speaker: International Energy Agency head of energy efficiency Dr Brian Motherway.
    Energy Agency (IEA)
  • Political keynote presentations from NSW minister of environment and heritage Mark Speakman and federal shadow minister for climate change and energy Mark Butler.
  • Profile presentations and panel discussions with over 35 speakers, innovators and energy
    users including:
  1. Australian Advanced Manufacturing Council executive director Jennifer Conley.
  2. Climate Council chief executive officer Amanda McKenzie.
  3. New Zealand Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority chief executive Mike Underhill.
  4. Property Council of Australia chief executive Ken Morrison.
