L&H Group to install 1.1MW of rooftop solar
It’s always good to see companies walking the talk when it comes to solar. Giles Parkinson of One Step Off The Grid writes about a recent alliance that sees L&H Group doing just that.
Electricity wholesaler L&H Group is to install 1.1MW of rooftop solar across 45 of its Australian branch network as part of an alliance with listed company Solco and its clean energy retailing subsidiary GO energy.

The alliance will see L&H market and sell GO energy’s retail energy and solar products and services via it distribution network of 30,000 commercial customers. In turn, GO energy will install the 1.1MW of solar under a power plant agreement arrangement with L&H, on 45 of its stores and office sites.
The two companies said in a statement the alliance “acknowledges that traditional energy retailing models are undergoing a transformation,” and that customers are choosing to the make-up of their energy mix, including by using renewable energy alternatives.
In August GO energy entered into a partnership with Golf NSW to provide member clubs solutions to their energy supply and solar needs, and to use rooftop solar and energy saving solutions to reduce energy costs.
It has also entered electricity supply contracts with Aldi and the NSW Business Chamber.
