Legrand has announced its new Super LED Satellite has won a Commendation Award at the 2017 Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) NSW Awards, which were held on Friday 3 November.

This event recognises the best of the lighting industry and was attended by over 500 lighting designers, electrical engineers, architects and lighting manufacturers.

The Super LED Satellite was selected for its outstanding innovative design and optical performance. It was designed for distributing light from high ceilings and large areas in emergency situations in spaces such as parking lots, exhibition centres, manufacturing facilities, warehousing and most general installations.

The company’s researchers, designers and engineers worked rigorously to develop a lighting solution to accommodate these premises, which need excellent lighting distribution over vast spaces.
