Legrand’s Arteor range selected for the renovation of Rydges South Bank Hotel
In order to undertake the renovation of the Rydges Southbank Hotel, management has considered all the options. Renovation is costly; the ultimate goal is to attract more attention and business through updating or upgrading the aesthetic and operational aspects of the hotel.
The 304 room hotel will undertake a $30 million redesign. Rydges Hotels area general manager Callum Kennedy says that the design objective was to achieve an opulent environment, while maintaining a contemporary ambience to compete with current market trends.
Legrand’s Arteor range of electrical sockets and switches is extensive and their choice of coverplate finishes helped ensure the switches and sockets complement the overall design ethos for the hotel.

“The Arteor switch range complements this design brief,” he says.
Arteor is known for its collection of light switches, dimmers, power, audio, video, data and USB sockets; not only that but the brand is introducing a new cutting-edge IoT solution, which will be released in March this year.
