Legrand, a global specialist in electrical installations and building infrastructures, has debuted the newest design of its Aqua Life range. Specialists from around the globe have worked on an entirely new range of weatherproof switches and sockets, specifically designed for more formidable Australian climates.

Specialists took apart the Aqua Life products and redesigned the whole system from the initial prototype. Technically it is a whole new product designed to more accurately meet consumer and contractor needs.

There is a shallow-mount option for residential applications and a ‘smart’ range which includes a USB A+C fast charger and Arteor adaptor. Advancements in technology, durability and robustness were additions enabled for contractors. Included features are surface-mount and shallow-mount options, IP53 and IP54 weatherproof rating (for sockets), easy slide switches, protective barrier edge, large guided cable terminals (that can accommodate up to 4 x 2.5mm2 cables for sockets), IP66 weatherproof rating (switches), and a ‘smart’ range equipped with 5A of super fast charging over 2-type A&C ports (2.4A on type A and 3A on type C).
