Kraus & Naimer has released the 6S Series stainless steel enclosure, which provides rigorous protection for vital switchgear but with the same footprint as popular plastic versions.

Ideally suited for dairy, food and beverage industries, the 6S Enclosure Series can withstand even the most aggressive environments. 6S Series Enclosures are also used in marine, sewage treatment plants, mining, material handling and conveyor systems.

The enclosures are Australian-manufactured and IP66-rated, constructed from 1.6mm 316 stainless steel, bottom threaded entries and four screw cover fixings with removable mounting feet.

With many standard sizes of stainless steel, mild steel and plastic enclosures, Kraus & Naimer can also meet unique application needs such as EMC/RFI screened glands suitable for stainless steel, mild steel or plastic enclosures.

Along with enclosures, Kraus & Naimer supply a full range of switchgear including rotary cam switches, change-over mains off gen switches, universal power supply by-pass switches, AC and DC switches, visual Isolators, contactors, lights, buttons and custom labels with extensive range of optional extras for these products.
