Klein Tools has released the MM720 Multimeter, a tester that measures up to 1,000V and comes with True Root Mean Square (TRMS) technology for increased accuracy.

It measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current and resistance as well as measure temperature, capacitance, frequency, duty-cycle, diodes and continuity. It also comes with a Low Impedance (LoZ) mode for identifying and eliminating ghost or stray voltages.

Featuring a high-visibility, reverse contrast LCD display with an optical sensor, users can view the screen in dark or bright ambient lighting.

Made for sparkies, the meter it built to withstand a 2m drop and it rated IP42. It comes with a CAT IV 600 V safety rating and words across basic and controlled electromagnetic environments, such as residential, business and light-industrial locations.
