JCS has released its Multi User Telecommunications Outlet (MUTO) boxes, designed for the direct termination of fibre and copper UTP cables in secure commercial and government environments.

The MUTO boxes incorporate additional security features, making them best suited to fibre-to-desk applications for Department of Defence and Federal Government projects. Interchangeable adaptor plates allow installers to terminate multiple connector combinations, including SC, LC and RJ45, providing flexibility across different project requirements.

The design supports cable entry from either the top or bottom, with the option to conceal entries behind plasterboard walls to achieve a clean finish. Each unit is supplied with a complete installation kit, including a clear cover, cable guide clips, splice protectors, strain relief anchors and plasterboard mounting hardware.

JCS MUTO boxes are stocked in a wide range of colours, salmon pink, royal blue, red, white, green, black, orange and grey, supporting colour coding and identification requirements on complex building projects.
