Garland expands its pre-terminated fibre range

Garland has expanded its pre-terminated fibre range to include outdoor Garland Terminated Loose Tube cable (GTLT) with the Nylon termite barrier.

In addition to the traditional indoor/outdoor Garland Terminated Tight Buffer (GTTB) construction, this allows for pre-terminated fibre links to be installed in outdoor environments including underground GTLT and within conduits GTTB. Both versions are water blocked and UV stabilised.

Along with the addition of products of this pre-term fibre range, these constructions are assembled locally.  In turn, this allows for faster lead times and the advantage of greater convenience.

The range expansion features GTTB and GTLT options, locally assembled1, both options being water blocked and UV stabilised, SC, LC and ST connectors available as standard2, up to 24 fibre options and the availability of single mode, OM3 and OM4 fibre3.

All Garland pre-terms are supplied with connectors that are staggered in pairs allowing for improved routing within FOBOTs and terminating equipment. Terminated ends are protected with a heavy-duty sleeve and both ends include a hauling eye.

Also included within the packaging are test results for quality assurance and peace-of-mind. By selecting the type and number of fibres, the inner and outer connector styles needed and the total length of fibre cable required, you can tailor the structure of our GTTB or GTLT to your specific project needs.
