Fujitsu AIRSTAGE VR-II heat recovery system
Designed for installation into new and existing commercial premises, the new VR-II large capacity multi VRF air conditioning system facilitates simultaneous cooling and heating, thus, temperatures can be adjusted to suit the needs of different areas within a building.
Ideal for a range of applications where independent temperature control is desirable, including hotels, schools, offices and other commercial buildings, the introduction of VR-II extends the Fujitsu General AIRSTAGE VRF offering, which includes the J-II and V-II Series.

Fujitsu’s AIRSTAGE VR-II heat recovery is a highly energy efficient system, using a large capacity DC twin rotary compressor with excellent intermediate capacity. The inverter compressor also delivers precision speed control in 0.1Hz steps as frequency increases, for additional
efficiency benefits.
Operating options include individual, central and building management control. For greatest comfort and convenience a new wired, touch panel remote controller can manage up to 16 indoor units with weekly/daily timer options, upper/lower temperature limit settings and the ability to check operation status and error information at a central point.
Fujitsu General VR-II heat recovery gives designers and installers infinite options due to such features as 1,000 metres (maximum) of piping, flexible piping connection design, two refrigerant branch (RB) unit options and the ability to freely position RB units.
Making system design and installation even easier, VR-II includes 12 types of indoor units (55 models in total) ranging in capacity from 2.2kW to 25.0kW.
According to national marketing manager, Milton Kaloudis, the launch of VR-II reinforces Fujitsu’s commitment to delivering high performance VRF air conditioning systems with design flexibility and which are of a world class standard.
“Fujitsu General has a reputation for excellence globally and our systems have been installed in major facilities around the world from international airports and hotels to schools and hospitals.
“The launch of VR-II heat recovery builds upon this reputation and we look forward to working with Australian designers and installers to assist them with local heat recovery projects.”
