AFC has announced the release of the latest fusion splicer from Fujikura, the small, lightweight FSM-12S.

“The continued growth in fibre optic communications and the global deployment of FTTH has lead to increased demand for a smaller, and more economical fusion splicer,” says AFC Group senior product manager Michael Scarano.

“The FSM-12S uses technology best suited to FTTH, Telco and LAN installations.
