Increasing demand for data is putting pressure on a data centre’s thermal integrity, and Emerson Network Power understands the need to effectively manage the data centre environment with its latest line of thermal management solutions.

Emerson Network Power makes possible the efficient, reliable and cost effective management of heat in mission critical facilities through the Liebert DSE with EconoPhase and the Liebert CRV. Regarded as the industry’s most efficient room-based precision cooling system, the Liebert DSE equipped with EconoPhase employs a pumped refrigerant economiser to deliver class-leading energy savings rivaling other technologies without the use of water or water treatment. Meanwhile, the Liebert CRV is a self-contained row-based cooling designed to integrate within a row of data centre racks, providing cooling close to the server heat source, for efficient and effective data centre heat management.

“With technology constantly changing, businesses must constantly respond to the challenge of looking for strategies to optimize their data centres,” Emerson Network Power in Australia national sales director Robert Linsdell says.

“Thermal management is one such strategy, as it leads to improved efficiency and reduced costs. Protecting equipment from overheating and damage and ensuring the conditions for optimal equipment function are vital parts of business operations.”
