Klein Tools has released the Compact Laser Distance Measuring tool which provides fast and accurate measurements up to 30.5m, with a 0.3cm accuracy and an accuracy of 0.2cm for the first 30′.

It boasts a lightweight design with a pocket clip that makes it easy to carry around a job site. It can record a single-distance measurement or continuous measurements with the click of a button.

Electricians can quickly compare the latest measurement with the past two measured distances that are automatically saved on the LCD screen. The LCD display has a highly visible reverse control display for improved viewing in low-light conditions.

Depending on what the user prefers, it can toggle between inches, feet and meters for more precise measurements.

It’s designed with a lanyard anchor to attach the unit to a tool bag or tool belt.
