Clean Energy Council to host Wind Industry Forum

The Clean Energy Council is hosting a Wind Industry Forum for everyone who works on the technical side of wind farms, or wants to know more about the process. Taking place in the Melbourne CBD, the day will be aimed at civil, electrical and mechanical engineers, as well as wind engineers and various other technical experts.

Topics will include key wind farm issues such as:

• Noise assessments
• Wind resource measurement and analysis
• Grid access and network connections
• Civil and electrical site design

ADVERTISEMENT

This unique conference will be the first of its type in Australia and will bring together experts to share knowledge and work towards technical excellence in the local industry. The day is supported by Engineers Australia and Australian Institute of Energy. The forum will count towards Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for chartered engineers and attendees can claim 8.

The information sessions will be followed by optional networking drinks.

Date: Wednesday 19 March 2014
Time: 9.00am to 5.00pm, followed by drinks
