Brivis nominated as a finalist in the Victorian Manufacturing Hall Of Fame Awards
Brivis has been announced as a finalist in the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards for Manufacturer of the Year. The Hall of Fame recognises companies that have excelled in business innovation, and productivity to contribute to the Victorian economy.
From humble beginnings as a small family owned business, Brivis has been operating in Australia for over 50 years and is renowned for developing heating and cooling products of quality, efficiency and long term reliability.

Brivis pioneered the introduction of evaporative cooling into new homes through the development of its revolutionary Brivis Contour range, an innovative low profile evaporative cooling unit which complies with many council covenant requirements.
The Brivis range of products has been awarded 6 star ratings, and in its continued pursuit of excellence, it is currently collaborating with CSIRO on new solar cooling technology which is being field-trialled in QLD.
Brivis was one of the first companies to design a digital communication system connecting its heating and cooling products through a two-wire bus to a thermostat. In addition to changing to a digital communication system, it has also been adopting the latest innovative technologies for over 25 years, and incorporates robotic automation and automotive guided vehicles which are used to perform various processes which in turn improves quality and productivity.
With manufacturing processes that focus on achieving an optimally balanced production line with minimal waste, lowest possible cost and on-time and defect-free production, Brivis integrates a number of proven methodologies to achieve greater than 99 per cent on time delivery. On a community level, Brivis has worked with Marriot House for over 25 years, a not-for-profit organisation specialising in transition day programs and employment for adults with intellectual disabilities. The Victorian Hall of Fame assessment team noted during the evaluation that Brivis exhibited an impressive commitment to implementing manufacturing excellence at all levels.
The Manufacturing Hall of Fame Award categories include Manufacturer of the Year, Company Induction, Honour Roll, and Young Manufacturer of the Year.
